OK, you're not a birther. How does that stop you from telling me what the whole thing is about? What does the Weekly Standard tell you it's about? The Birther movement insists that Obama was actually born in Kenya, and thus is not a 'natural born' citizen, thus illegal to hold the office of President. This position ignores his birth records, his birth announcement in the Honolulu papers, and any amount of witnesses who were there. This is totally unlike Cruz' position, where he was born of an American citizen who happened to be abroad at the time - he's legal. Actually you're wrong. There is no difference. Let's, for arguments sake, say Obama was born out of the country. Obama's mother was an american citizen was she not?

Apparently, the Birther theory includes the concept that she somehow waived her citizenship. i don't say it makes sense, I'm saying what their theory says.

Carville is also praying the Todd Cruz is the nominee. I think Cruz is just one of several on carville's wish list - Parry, Santorum, Bachmann, Palin, any number of others who could motivate the far right enough to win the nomination and then get slaughrtered in the general.

I can see the ads now. McCarthy on one side of the screen and Cruz on the other. Two peas in a pod.
