Bibles are being returned to the rooms at Georgia's state-run lodges and cabins. Department of Natural Resources Commissioner Mark Williams ordered the Bibles be removed after someone complained and threatened the state with a lawsuit. But Gov. Nathan Deal, who was not happy with the Bibles being removed, turned Georgia Attorney General Sam Olens for his opinion. "It is our intention based on the guidance that we will be given by the attorney general to replace those Bibles in those facilities," says Deal. Late Wednesday afternoon, WSB's Sandra Parrish received a statement from Olens' office. "Nothing in the Constitution prohibits private organizations from purchasing Bibles and placing them in a public lodge, so long as other groups wishing to place their own literature are offered similar accommodation." www.wsbradio.com/news/news/bibles-returned-state-lodges-and-cabins/nXsDM/
