Petee, I was getting ready to stop in and say hey to those on the Fascist board once I found out you took over as administrator. What changed my mind is seeing you make some of the same mistakes that Fox did. Yahoo was fun because the power hungry, welfare parasites, with no life could not stop me from speaking my mind. All the control freaks could do was have my post deleted by abusing the tos feature. People that never earn power tend to abuse it simply by having the delusions of grandeur that come by losing touch with the reality of working a 55 hour a week job to pay the bills.
After Yahoo shut down I was forced to look through the thousands of political boards to see where I would fit in. Once an administrator tells me I have to join to see their best threads, I quickly go to the next board to see if they have anything interesting going on there. The best boards have nothing to hide from posters like me that are looking around for a place to contribute to the conversation. I can show you several boards that are way better than Yahoo. The people act like adults and there is always good debate that causes me to question my position on an issue. Un-freaking-believable, right?
The problem with being an administrator is you don't have time to look through the countless boards out there to see what attracts new members. Don't let the power go to your head, Petee, you were doing great building a board open to the public. You have to be willing to spend some time looking at what your competition is doing to get people capable of good conversation to join the debate. I come in peace, I hate seeing you make the same schizophrenic mistakes as Fox.
